H&R wanted to promote their excellent mortgage services to their existing building society customers, and at the same time, reach out to new potential customers. They asked us to create a marketing and advertising campaign to raise the profile of their mortgage offering.
The Thinking
Knowing how important H&R's local customer base is, we decided to create a campaign that has a distinctly local feel.
We created bespoke illustrations that featured local street names, housing styles and landmarks which would be recognisable to the public. The different illustrations communicate different messages appropriate to the media and audience.
Using the local elements reinforced the key message of the campaign that 'The best mortgage is right here on your doorstep'.
The Result
Hinckley & Rugby were delighted to see a 40% increase in mortgage applications. A combination of H&R’s excellent service and products, channelled through the marketing campaign we created, has led to this success.

The Feedback
We gave Newenglish a challenging brief. They created stylish and eye-catching imagery presenting a fresh and vibrant take on modern mortgage lending. The campaign has helped raise awareness of the service available to local people and brought in new mortgage enquiries.
